About Aubray

Ever since she could remember, Aubray had wanted a horse of her own. Then, finally she found HER horse, Riley. Like many genres of photography, every photographer has a reason for choosing their specialty just as Aubray chose Equestrian Photography as her main focus. For Aubray every big life moment could be traced back to a single horse, for her it was Riley. Riley not only helped shape her into the woman she is today but she showed her the importance of equestrian photography. With every photo Aubray has of her and her other horses, she is reminded of every movement, every quirk, every feeling they gave her and it’s now her goal to do the same thing for all her clients

Biggest challenges you’ve faced in business?

Burnout. It can be hard juggling family time and the business. I had to learn to prioritize and organize to keep myself from getting too stressed.

If you could start all over again, what would you do differently?

Honestly, I am really happy with how I went about things. I don’t have any regrets up to this point.

Where do you draw your inspiration from?

Horses are pretty inspirational in themselves. Since it is my main focus, it is easy to stay inspired.

What are 3 tips you would give fellow photographers?

Tip 1:

Run your numbers

Tip 2:

Do things differently than other photographers

Tip 3:

Don’t rush. Take your time. Avoid burning out.

Favorite Serendipity Products –

Albums hands-down. My clients love them, I love them. I grew up looking through my grandparents and parents albums. It’s always been a favorite thing of mine.
