About Zach
A man now wearing many different hats, it all started when he assisted on his first wedding in 2013. Fast forward almost a decade later, his images have been featured in several prominent national and local magazines. His work has expanded to now focus not just on weddings, but also on bar/bat mitzvahs and other special occasions as well as professional headshot photography.
Biggest challenges you’ve faced in business?
As a higher priced photographer, finding the right client is like finding that needle in a haystack which can be very difficult. Also, navigating a business through the COVID pandemic and staying afloat was extremely challenging but I kept pushing even when business seemed to totally dry up.
If you could start all over again, what would you do differently?
I wish I would have offered higher end products to my clients sooner. Being a full service photographer, offering a client experience and not just handing over photos, is how you truly make a difference in your clients lives.
Where do you draw your inspiration from?
I draw inspiration from my mentors and friends in the industry. Sal Cincotta, Michael Anthony, Vanessa Joy, Miguel Ocque, and Rafael Serrano to name a few. So many talented photographers in the business.
What are 3 tips you would give fellow photographers?
Tip 1:
Offer a full service to your clients (i.e. albums and products)
Tip 2:
Offer an experience not just photography
Tip 3:
Don’t negotiate on price, the right clients will find you

Favorite Serendipity Products –
I love the luxury leather heirloom albums for a gorgeous higher end product for my clients. But the Leatherette Keepsake albums are also gorgeous products at a really economical price point which have been really popular with my engagement clients.
